Foyil Music Studio is Proud to Welcome our newest teacher Jessica Peresta! 

Jessica graduated from Oral Roberts University and has a degree in Music Education with an emphasis in Piano Performance.  Jessica is State Certified to teach instrumental and vocal music.  Jessica has taught in Tulsa Public Schools and loves sharing her passion for music with her students.  More of her bio coming soon......

Amanda Foyil is a teacher, vocalist, and instrumentalist.  She has been teaching private instruction since 2004.  Amanda has studied voice & instruments privately for over 15 years.  Her studies began with Deborah DeWees, former professional opera singer and continued through college.  At the college level, Amanda studied with Dr. Melody Baggech & Dr. Steven Walker both of which are former opera singers.  It is under Dr. Steven Walkers instruction that Amanda received East Central University's Outstanding Piano/Vocal Major Award as well as placing in the Top 2 at the Southeastern Oklahoma Opera Contest.

Amanda's clarinet and flute training began in 1995 with Mellissa Agee and continued through college.  She studied Clarinet with Dr. Mark Hollingsworth while receiving East Central University's Marguerite Hawkinson Award.  She graduated with academic achievement from East Central and is state certified in both vocal & instrumental music education.

Amanda is a member of the Oklahoma Music Adjudicators Association, National Association of Music Educators, National Choral Director's Association, Oklahoma Choral Directors Association, and Oklahoma Music Educator's Association.  She is also an adjudicator for the OSSAA.

Her performing experience includes singing the National Anthem at a Chicago White Sox Game, singing on the steps of the Capital Building in Washington D.C. touring Costa Rica, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, and the U.S. with the Continental Singers as their Assistant Director, Business Manager, and of course as a Performer!  She has lead worship at Falls Creek (the largest youth encampment in the world) for four summers.  Operas, Musicals, and Plays, were among many of her performing opportunities during high school and college.

Kerrie Wike graduated from the University of Tulsa with a Bachelors in Vocal Music Education.  Her performing experience includes singing at Carnegie Hall with the Master Arts Youth Chorale conducted by Dr. John Leavitt, solo performances in many churches across the Midwest, leading worship at Harvard Avenue Baptist Church for 2 years, leading worship at Faithweek Youth Campin Siloam Springs, Arkansas this past summer, numerous musicals and plays in the community in years past, and is currently lead vocalist and keyboardist for the band Redemption's Hill which is a part of 4:12 Youth Ministries.  She also directs a young priase and worship band named Scrapin' Gravy.  Kerrie is State Certified and currently teaches K-8 Music at School of St. Mary in Tulsa.  She enjoys singing lead female vocals at Eastwood Baptist Church, and works hard to raise her two boxers with the help of her loving husband (a former TU Football Player).                         

Kerrie focuses her teachng on good technique and theory.  She motivates her students through encouragement, fun performing opportunities, and interesting song selections.  Students are encouraged to perform in recitals each year.  Studio recitals and performances are not mandatory however students have a blast!

The studio offers a Classical Recital, Spring Recital, Summer Recital, Veteran's Day Recital, and Christmas Recital each year.  In addition to these outstanding recitals students also have the opportunity to perform at festivals through the Spring and Summer, area businesses, retirement homes, and churches across the state!
